This manga is weird. It's in part a direct adaptation, one part alternate telling of the same stories, one part original, and it also partially features sequels to anime-only stories. It seems the authors didn't quite know what they wanted to do with the manga since it doesn't quite stand alone but also but it also wants to cater to people who haven't watched the show. That being said, I very much enjoyed reading it. The art style is spot on with amazing reaction faces, the characters are as much fun as they've ever been - you even learn some new things about them, and the new originalstories are really fun to read. On the downside, some of the action is hard to follow and the manga is brought to an end rather abruptly, leaving it feeling incomplete, and leaving you wanting more.

I would definitely recommend it to fans of the franchise.
