Ginzatoushi to Kuro no Yousei: Sugar Apple Fairy Tale · review
I started reading after the anime's episode three cliffhanger. I am not a shoujo fan. It is a short but sweet shoujo story with all the elements that make me recommend it to readers. The twists, turns, and ending can be seen halfway through the chapters, but that does not matter. The character's depth and development are just enough to let the readers feel some connection to them. I loved Ann and her drive to become a silver sugar master and treat fairies as equals. I enjoyed Shall's gradual change in attitude towards the naive, beautiful Ann. If a story makes you evoke afeeling for a story, then the author has done something right, which leads me to Jonas, and I will leave it at that.
There is nothing exceptional here, but what is there is sweet and memorable.
