As a person who only watched the anime, i found the series outstanding and i really got into the anime so much that it made me want to read the manga. But as previous reviewers comments say the Ova was a bit of a downfall for me... The first was a good start after the series ended but with only 3 Ova's and where it left off wanted me wanting more... and thats a feeling no anime lover wants.. Watching Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi go for it.. all thumbs up...but if you want to watch the Ova's be ready for not much.. its not at alllike the series.. the characters remain the same and are loved by all but the story of the ova's are not strong.. if the ova's were to remain as is i would like it to continue because the last ova makes a person wonder what is going to happen next.. not something i want.. it drives me crazy...
