Review of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3

Maybe it's because I'm older, maybe it's genuinely down to the writing, but this felt like a bit of a struggle at times. Konosuba is still funny and follows exactly the same beats you expect, but don't expect anything to have changed. It's fine, if you're a fan I think you should watch it. Honestly though I was bored and frustrated at times as everyone acts exactly how they've always acted, despite this being season 3 (not including the movie). This season pretty much abandons the adventuring premise, relying on the horrible personalities of these characters. A couple of new characters are introduced and we returnto some others, which is nice.

Trying to review this season seems a bit pointless really. The overall point is that I felt a little disappointed. It's more of the same and that might be enough for some, but anime sequal seasons are pretty rare and this just felt like it was killing time until it was all over. After the movie that somehow felt doubley disappointing.
