Review of [Oshi No Ko]
A very good bit of cinematic, drama filled anime A must watch as this anime surpassed alot of what I thought it was going to be. From how it started out and the massive turn it took to create the plot of the anime. While the flow of the story seemed to dim down a bit due to how much was in the MC's hands it does convert to a slice of life kind of section which they managed to keep lively with both Aqua and Ruby finding work and the aspects of working in the entertainment sector. Onto the exterior of the anime. It's very well constructedwith a 1 hour and 20 min first episode, which sets it up almost perfectly although this was mostly done so it could finish when the season finished. Which would mean the anime would've had 15 episodes in total so a 20 min episode per week would've went over schedule.
The music used in the anime was near top tier, with the ED being very catchy and the OST of the anime also being very fitting with the genres the show has.
The setting is the modern day, so it mostly covers the hardships and issues of modern day actors. The art style and design is EXTREMELY well done to a very high standard, that of a higher quality of another show Dogo Kobo did which was Shikimori's not just a cutie, which while it didn't have much of a story, had the art carry it heavily. With that being mentioned they also made another anime that is on my list of very few masterpieces, which is Plastic Memories which had a very good story and I'd suggest you'd also watch that after watching Oshi no ko, unless you want something that's completed as Oshi no ko has a second season still to be made.
With that being said, it seems Oshi No Ko is going to live up to be the best Anime that Doga Kobo has come out with, very likely surpassing one of my all time favourites which is Plastic Memories, so I'd highly recommend watching it
