Watched Initial D growing up, and this is so nostalgic. I missed the eurobeats and unrealistic takeovers! This is for the simple working man. Man see car. Man see car race. Man see car drift. Man hear fast music. Man happy. Art is simple, characters are simple, story is simple. For the simple people this is an easy 10/10. People with "distinguished" palettes wouldn't understand the joy of the comforting McDonald's 10 piece and wouldn't understand the comfort of this show. This is one of those shows where you don't overthink it. Just chill and enjoy the craziest drifts and testosterone pumping action.
