Review of Vermeil in Gold

Story Alto is a good student at the Ortigia Academy of Magic but he fails his summoning class. and was threatened to repeat a year, Alto tries finding a solution by going to a Libary where he accidentally finds a worn-out grimoire and finds a spell to summon not knowing what it was it was missing pages he desperately wants a familiar badly and what he got was powerful Succubus demon who turns out to be a nice named Vermeil. As a sign of gratitude for releasing her, Vermeil agrees to become Alto's familiar but Alto not wanting the whole school to know that hesummons a Demon. He had her disguise herself as a human after that he passed the test. This Ecchi, Fantasy, School, Shounen series was written and created by Kōta Amana. it's very much a Boy Meets Demon girl Love story.

Animation

Done by Staple Entertainment which is a new Animation studio I can see by their style that it's slow pace but they do a good job conveying a story with its characters I do like the color palette for this anime. You can tell they try to do things with a sense of pride in doing things old-fashioned with a mixture of layering effects it's not perfect but it's alright.

Music and Sound
The background music is very good hiring two professional composers Ken Itō and Kenichi Kuroda who have done a few animes I will give them the credit because they know how to hit a beat with this series. The Opening song “Abracada-Boo“, by Kaori Ishihara, is kind of an alright song for its opening. As for the ending song by Mili "Mortal With You " good song but dark.

Voice Acting
I saw the Japanese version, the cast does a solid job of making the story convincing with their tone and pitches.

Overall

Yes, this Anime has Fanservice it's meant that try to be a comedy it also that tries to take a serious tone in its story for an anime. The ending seems to have been left for season 2. It's an entertaining anime but an incomplete story that maybe deserves another chance I don't think it will be due for 2 years.
