Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc
Snooze fest. Sadly, my feelings regarding the movie have continued into this second season. First, as they did with the movie, they introduce a new round of characters alongside the main three, and the story revolves around them and their conflict. The problem with that is that I don't care. I don't know anything about these new characters, I haven't been with them for long, so when things are happening to them, it doesn't hold any significance to me whatsoever. I understand by helping these new characters, the main three and Nezuko are provided opportunities for growth, but again - it's not enough to keepme interested at this point. I want more plot, more development with Tanjiro and Nezuko. I want to see them discover more about themselves and their family secrets.
Aside from that, I want to see much, much more with Muzan and the dynamic he has with his demons.
Also, similar to how I felt with the movie, this was so drawn out. Why do the fight scenes have to be so tedious and long? It takes far too many episodes to get anywhere, and it leaves me horribly bored.
I understand why people might still like it, but for me, it's not fun to watch anymore. Which, is sad because I really fell in love with these characters in season one, so I want nothing more than to see what happens to them going forward. But, I don't think I can continue.
