Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc

To start with this, I have to say that I absolutely loved what Ufotable did in this season, I'm getting more attachted to this story due to the amazing job that they are doing with the adaptation, because let's be honest, if it was only because of the plot in general, Kimetsu would be a pretty average shonen, the story is really simple and even when there are some interesting characters and emotional moments along the story, in general everything is kinda normal or even "bad". So yeah, that's not the reason why this anime is popular, the only reason is the incredible animation and fights,they do an amazing job with the soundtracks too, and it's fine watching this anime only to enjoy this things, not every anime need a complex story or plot, being average in this things but being really fun to watch is fine too, and that's exactly the case with this season.

I find this season better than the first one or even better than the mugen train arc, I can't compare this to other animes because I believe they are very different, I didn't watch this waiting for an incredible background or something like that, just wanted to have fun with this simple story, and Ufotable surpassed my expectations, I literally watched the 11 episodes in two days when normally I watch only about 1 or 2 anime episodes a day, but I was really into it, I needed to know what was going to happen, I wanted more of those spectacular fights and epic moments, it even made me tear a little bit with the story of the two demons siblings.

I already said that the plot is not one of the best things about Kimetsu, but I believe that this season was pretty good in that aspect, it helped to get more attached to our protagonists, we get to know a little bit more about Nezuko and her demon technique, and the most interesting part for me, we slowly get to know more about the sun breathing style, with Tanjiro trying to get used to it and use it in his fights, there are a lot of unknowns about it and I'm genuinely interested to learn more.

With all already said, now I'm eagerly waiting for the next season, I know it'd take some time, but I'm pretty sure that at the end it'll be worth it.
