This show is not good. The story has an interesting premise that ends up getting obliterated harder than the dinosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous Period. An abused and neglected hero of the world grating his past self future sight of the agony he would endure in advance is a baller concept. Instead of developing a well-conceived plot where the character takes advantage of his self-obtained blessing to do something meaningful to change the world or to at least become a genuine champion on his own he instead decides to do a lot of rape and murder, followed by telling himself that whathe is doing is good.

This sends a message that the character is righteous and justified, and at no point is his methodology in taking his revenge a moral conflict. Every instance where the character has an opportunity to reflect on his actions he just doesn't and says that he is right and they are wrong. There is no nuance. There are no characters that challenge his beliefs and make even the slightest dent in them. The show at all times broadcasts him as justified and everyone who doesn't agree dies or gets raped.

There are weird plot holes that haven't been explained. If there is a season 2, which I hope there is not, maybe that would be addressed. None of the characters have any meaningful development. If they do it is because they basically are forced to instantly become a new character magically and not because of good writing. The power of the main character is insanely high and it is never really addressed how. There is no power system, just a bunch of "Heh, got you." moments where he does something and his opponent either has sex with him or dies.

The art had a few decent scenes. I witnessed some of the pornographic content and didn't care for it. I'm mostly addressing the non-porn visuals and they were dry and stiff outside of a few instances where they were actually quite nice. The issue is about 1/3 of every episode is sex and another 1/2 is lackluster. The environments are generic and lack notable qualities. At least the art team got to do some interesting anatomy studies for this.

Overall I would have rather spent a day looking out of my window at the passing traffic than have watched this. Beyond the fact that the writing felt frustratingly bad and constantly left me with a feeling of disappointment, it also clearly leaves a dangerous message completely unchallenged. I hope this show with an interesting hook does not trick you into taking its bait. I also hope that if you agree with the main character or his methodology that you get the help you need.
