Mimi's Tales of Terror · review
I don't know why I read this Manga again... This was the first manga I read of the master of Horror Junji Ito, coincidentally this being one of the weakest mangas he has ever done. I'm only logging that manga again because I just read an English translation of it, I don't know why I did it, but I did. The best story in this manga is definitely "The Seashore", being one of the scariest in the entire manga (in my opinion) The manga is very light for a Junji Ito horror, being great for non-Horror readers and beginners in this new universe, but I feel that itis a bit of a thorn in the side because whoever reads this manga and bases Junji Ito only on that, will think that his stories are stupid like these.
"Fragments of Horror" is certainly the best manga (and collection) to start in this world of our beloved Mangaka...
