ABSOLUTE CINEMA!!! Before watching this entry or getting to this part of the franchise(I watched in release order) I'd always thought Juri Han had the best character design of them all and she strikes me as super likable, well I'M GLAD I WAS RIGHT. This was an OVA basically dedicated to showing her off and I enjoyed every single minute of it. Cool character with a likable arrogance and strength to back it up, amazing fighting style+moves, epic lines, and best character design_ I could watch an entire season of Juri doing psycho -no, Juri things. Regarding the story itself, it's Street Fighter as you knowit so that means it's easy to follow. What I'm most hooked on is the ending suggesting there will be a clash between two enemy organizations: Shadaloo(the iconic Street Fighter villains) and S.I.N(the newly introduced one where my girl Juri debuted in). This is an old OVA with obviously no sequel so I'm guessing this storyline probably continued in the games? I don't know but I'm already planning to play the games anyway. Maybe it won't continue but as long as I get one with Juri in it I sleep smiling.

In summary, what you get in this OVA;

1. Best girl debut(Juri Han)
2. Engaging storyline from beginning to end
3. A slight shift as the story this time didn't follow the perspective of Ryu and Ken(they didn't even appear lol), which was refreshing
4. Best choreography the series has offered yet in its hype match ups (Juri vs Chun Li, vs. Cammy White, vs. Shadaloo ''dolls'', vs Soldier boy--forgot his name so I'll go with what Juri nicknamed him). The OVA also starts with Juri wrecking shit up. That was super fun as well.
5. Cleaner picture than usual(though I was surprised the previous entry - The Ties that Binds - was cleaner than this despite coming a year before)

Anyway this is my favorite entry of the franchise. I'm sour some fuckasses who don't deserve this rated it so low it ended up in the 6.-rated zone but it is what is. You and I know the 6.-rated anime zone on MAL has more gems than the 9.-rated portion could ever dream of.
