surprised at how much i enjoyed the show. kirakira started off rough, and in the first few episodes i had really grown to hate ichika because of how plain she appeared to be. however the show then proceeds to do something that i didn't expect it to, which is giving their characters depth and growth. i found myself really enjoying many of the characters and relating to them. i think that the decision to show the characters dealing with their own issues and insecurities in the show has made them appear more realistic and human. kirakira precure a la mode is about love, and ibelieve they handled the subject very well.
