Hard to review this anime without spoilering (Review with spoilers) It was hard deciding a vote on this anime, because religious references can sometimes be very hard to decypher. This anime is about the Apocalypse, but it does not happen like in the Bible. Ryo is Satan, first mistake. The one who must conquer humanity should be the Antichrist, not Satan. The main purpose of the Bible is educational, not depicting demons and hyping power. The question that atheists and christians debate on is wether it was God who created humans in his image or humans who created God in their image. My personal view ofthe Antichrist: someone who can subjagate the world to his will, like a nation leader, a dictator. This is a good time to imagine the antichrist. The antichrist will brainwash people into thinking that he is a God (he replaces Jesus). Then, the seven angels with the seven trumpets appear and end the world (opening of the seventh seal)

This anime has however many positive aspects, like Ryo's speech about love, the reactions created by the discovery of demons (at first I thought they were unrealistic and too much spanish-inquisition like, then I remembered people playing among us).

Last thing I want to add, is that usually the viewer empathizes himself with the anime and doesn't take much attention to the afterlife, but since there are God and Satan there is paradise, and the tragic deaths are not tragic anymore (Miki, Miko, Akira). Pog.
