Its actually pretty good for what it is, a nice little short story in the UC timeline. What killed it mostly was the amount of hype that surrounded the series when it was announced and people expecting it to be another main entry in the gundam franchise. That being said, i do feel that this one is pretty much just for fans of the gundam franchise. Still you dont have to know much about the series to enjoy it, if you know who char and lala are and what a newtype is then you are good. People are just upset because several story elements arent explained likethe reason for conflict, who the enemy is etc. In my opinion though, this was never what the story was about, so its fine that these elements are never explained.

What the story is about, is the relationship between Arlette and Dalton, mostly Arlette though as she struggles with her inner demons. Without spoiling much, the story become clearer as the show goes on and things wrap up nicely.

In my opinion if you are a gundam fan this series is worth checking out, its only 20 min. of your time and a nice little short story.
