Review of A Place Further Than The Universe

A place further than the universe is a very solid Slice of life/Drama anime. This anime has the best of both worlds when it comes to slice of life/drama because of the vast amounts of moments inside of this anime, Seriously though the animation team behind this show did a really good job packing 3 seasons worth of content into one season and it not feeling rushed. A place further than the universe at times is extremely wholesome, Getting to watch the characters bond and get closer together and go from strangers to practically sisters. You get to watch their dedication towards their dreams of goingto Antarctica and all of the troubles that occur on the way. And along the way experience all of their banter and the joy they shared. Like i said it's an extremely wholesome anime (at times) and i recommend watching it just for that but there is alot more than just Banter and wholesome comedic slice of life.

This anime also captures the beauty of Antarctica and nature in general. The atmosphere of the cold terrain of Antarctica seen within this anime is surreal (and you even get to see the northern lights (not counting that as a spoiler)) While also capturing the dangers that the harsh weather holds in store which is the key point of the drama for the show. And it's incredibly realistic, I won't spoil it but as somebody who has gone through events similar to that shown in this show it was very similar (to my) Experience with the dangers of nature.

A place further than the universe is a realistic and honestly amazing Slice of life/Drama anime and is perfect for anyone looking to get into something slice of life or drama and will leave you with a craving for more. Very solid 9/10
