I really enjoyed Boogiepop and Others (2019); it's a unique mystery anime with an interesting sci-fi twist that I really enjoyed. It's not a perfect anime, but it is an excellent mystery. ... I would recommend the light novels more because they have more references that didn't make it into the anime The original anime series aired almost 20 years ago now (in the year 2000), and that anime was a masterpiece, albeit a complex one with alternate perspectives and a non-linear progression of the plot. This offering is also relatively complex. Drawing and animation are good, but not amazing. I still prefer the older version becauseit's creepier
