Review of ReLIFE
So I got finished with ReLiFE after binge watching it over the past two days. Now what to do I think comparing this to the manga? It's really good, it was a pleasure to watch this anime. Ugh I haven't really written reviews before so I'm probably gonna suck at this Story: You're introduced to a 27-year-old man, (Kaizaki Arata)who's life is a bad shape, after quitting his job after 3 months and is now barely making ends meet. After a meet up with his "friends", he meets a man named Yoake Ryo, who is a part of the ReLIFE corporation, and gives Arata a chanceto change his life, by making him 17 again, and also to do his third year of high school over again. You see him change and make others change around him as he goes through high school life again. Now what do I say about this part considering that I've read the manga. I really like the story, I love to see Kaizaki evolve as a character considering his past and also him influencing others around him, making them evolve as well. I don't really want to spoil anything so I won't go any further than that. All I'll say is that the story in the manga, had a slight darker tone which I really liked but that doesn't mean I'm against this. It also uses the cliche, highschool life problems story thing, but makes something new out of it, because of Arata actually being 27 years old in a 17 year old body of his. The story is a 9/10 for me.
Art: Uh, I don't really know what to say about this. I guess it pretty much follows the manga art. So 10/10? Sorry I'm not picky on art, unless it's that 3D anime stuff, ugh that makes me cringe.
Sound: The opening I really like, it's catchy and I love listening to it every time I watched each episode. The endings are meh to me, I never usually listen to ending really as I don't find them as good as the openings. When it came to the sound in particular scenes and moments, I think it was spot on. It made me more interested in the drama, or added comedic effect in scenes. Sound is a 8/10 for me.
Characters: Well I adore Kaizaki Arata, a lot as a character. As I said in the story bit it was so fun to watch him evolve and help his friend out with their problems. Kaizaki is a sociable person, who everyone likes and gets really bad grades. He is always ready to help, and get involved with his friends personal problems, though that can be a negative at times. But I admire that as a character about him. Yoake Ryou and Onoya An, they're great characters too, but I can't really tell you without spoiling their roles. Hishiro Chizuru, is a smart girl and get's top grades in school, but emotionally dumb, like really emotionally dumb. Honestly, she will ask you straight up about things you wouldn't be straight up about. She is also a very lonely person which makes me feel really sad for her. Though she evolves as a character a lot by the end of the anime, mainly due to Arata. Kariu Rena, she is a very competitive person, she hates losing against someone. She is a firm but kind loving person. Though she is stubborn as hell and won't show her true feelings to anyone. Her competitiveness , leads to a lot of negativity for her as you will see during the anime. But I like her character, although she seemed kinda tsundere, which is the cliche type of character which I usually don't like. She is a great character again none the less. Ooga, Kazoumi, he is the smart and good looking guy in this group. Though he is dense as fuck. Like really dense, thank god the MC was not like this, otherwise I would stab myself, *ahem* Infinite Stratos. He's a very likeable character as well, and cares about his peers a lot especially a certain someone "wink wink*. Also on another note Hishiro is freaking dense as hell as well. I find him great to interact with Arata, they have a great connection as friends, and they are just funny and great together. The other supporting characters are good as well, though they aren't looking through as deeply as the main characters, excluding Tamarai Honoka. Overall I give a characters a 9/10.
Enjoyment: I truly love ReLIFE, there was never ever a dull moment for me. It was a great ride and pleasure to watch Arata's and his friends high school lives through part of the third year, and here's to hoping for another season of ReLIFE. Enjoyment 10/10.
Overall: I give it a 9/10. I would absolutely rewatch all these episodes if I had the time. It was not absolutely perfect, as there a few cliche moments in my opinion but it was damn good. Give it a watch I tell you. Do it now.
P.S Sorry for spelling and crappy construction of sentences don't usually write reviews as I say again
