Review of Tsukigakirei
If any of you haven't watched Tsuki ga Kirei please go ahead and watch it unless you hate romance or slice of life . Completed this treasure yesterday and still have lingering feelings from when I watched the ending. I personally hate even the most vague of spoilers. So I will also do my best to avoid such situations even though I know it is difficult to do. The story journeys the lives of 2 middle school students that were just classmates until a recent series of meetings/events entwined their fates. It is a very cute , innocent , and pure anime that really draws youin emotionally because you can totally relate to most of the things that happen within the anime. We all have our first loves , first girlfriends and first kisses that we all treasure . We cherish the feeling of comfort and pleasure these emotions give and it really incites you to think back on your past.
Tsuki ga Kirei confronts the common challenges faced in every relationship (e.g uncertainty and many more ,please watch to find out ) and shows a beautiful way of how these young teenagers face each challenge.
It is an anime that makes you reflect on your past (if you can relate) and give you a sense of comfort and ease.
It does a good job of combining drama with romance and it even manages to include some wholesome comedic relief.
I love the Art Style , its not the usual pen and marker 3D animation , but sadly i don't know how to describe the art. I would say it looks like paint but not really? Anyways, it is really refreshing and it totally fits the mood and vibe the content gives.
Voice acting was amazingly done by Kohara Konomi and Chiba Shoya, their voices by itself are soothing and lively but it was elevated to greater heights their passion and emotion . I absolutely love how Konomi (Akane) sounds in this anime , it just sounds so natural and bright . OST's are one of the most important things to make an anime shine and they do it perfectly in this series. ED is good but OP is even better.
Overall , Tsuki ga Kirei is a must watch for anyone that enjoys Romance, Slice of life. I personally rate it 11/10 and it's good enough for me to crown it my Favourite romance anime immediately after I finished it . I think this is also a good choice or anyone who would like to venture out of Action or Shounen as well.
Last but not least , another reason Tsuki ga Kirei is remarkably wholesome and satisfactory because it doesn't leave you hanging like every other anime there is ;)
