Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I did not like this anime. The quality of drawing is simply awful. The proportions are not respected. It's a bit embarrassing for the animator. I was so shocked on how bad certain scene were. There are also no shadow. They reuse (pretty commun) a lot of scene. A lot of shows do that as well, but its way more subtle. It also looks like it was done by the same illustrator of Wiki How, but drunk and with the mouse. The scenario is good. And you could say its a bit refreshing because its they didnt go in the "cliché" path (at least). The characters are poorlyapproached and I struggled to understand and empathize with the main character. I usually dont get this problem, it's a first lol. His best friend is even worse. I can not even tell if he's more crazy (bad) than Alucard in Hellsing Ultimate or he's just really dumb. I really cant tell.

Seiyuu is the only thing I do not have anything special to say, their voice is good and the music (other rap, but I do not like the rap genre, my opinion is not really fair) I liked.

4/10. I do not understand those who put 10 and saw it as a masterpiece. Yes it's great to see an anime who critics society. But sadly, it's poorly done. It was not enjoyable for me and the whole critic they discust is just so basic, I was legit mad with the ending about it lol
