This is a compilation of the TV series, but it's worth watching. For newcomers, it perfectly works as a movie . For longtime fans, it provides a brand new experience with updated tracks and powerful live scenes. Music / Animation Works: The most prominent track of these two movies was definitely “Unmei no Hana”. It is true that this track was already performed in the final episode of the TV series, but this movie version updated it dramatically. This powerful track is not only a goal of Togenashi Togeari, but also a beginning for them. In terms of animation works, this final live scene was amust-see. Heroines’ emotions, actions, and unity feel more intense and accelerated than ever.
Furthermore, the OP and ED tracks, created for the movies, were energetic and emotional. This is one of the points that must be checked.

Story: Although it is condensed, each two-hour runtime preserves the essence of Girls Band Cry. Some scenes in the TV series were cut, yet the flow of the story remained natural (of course, the TV series is better for enjoying details than the movies). Live scenes are concentrated more and more, and their powerfulness is the best point of the movies. By condensing the narrative into a movie format, the story gained a stronger sense of unity, which gave this anime an electrifying impact.

Summary: As a compilation, this movie transforms the TV series into a powerful cinematic experience. Both for newcomers and longtime fans, it offers a condensed yet emotional journey. Also, the updated music and intensified performances provide fresh excitement to this series. That balance makes Girls Band Cry Compilation Movie truly worth watching.
