I love shows about eating and drinking, so I'm biased. I love having a little whiskey or sake while watching this. Another reviewer mentioned the art style change in episode 3, and I do understand that they prefer consistency, but I love experimental animation and I thought it was quite charming (the frame rate gets fairly low though, I'm not gonna lie). In most episodes the animation is pretty fantastic- beautiful colors, subtle and expressive hand movements, Makoto Shinkai level lighting in some scenes. If you don't mind a lack of consistency in favor of experimentation, you'll enjoy it. I was fully expecting just CGDCT, but asof episode 4 it seems to be working on a yuri love triangle that I find pretty compelling. We'll see if it goes anywhere.

I was a little surprised by the pro-smoking element but it's not going to effect my overall favorable impression.
