i probably would've rated this lower but i can't shake the feeling this manga is trying to tell me something more than what i'm currently seeing, so i'm willing to give it a chance for now, even though i'm almost certain i will be disappointed. this work seems so indecisive, addressing the toxic dynamic between the main characters and especially the male interest's issues, but at the same time trying to make it all look romantic at specific times - it just doesn't come together well and more than thinking "it manages to be romantic despite everything" you're just left wondering what the author istrying to achieve. (plus the wholes step-siblings thing is kinda weird to me even though they added every possible excuse to make it sound less creepy.)
i think that to really address the couple's problems well this manga should be aimed to a much more mature public than the one it seems like it's trying to appeal to (considering the tropes it used up until now), so i really doubt i will ever get a pay-off but at least i'll see where it's heading.
