Well thanks a million to my secret Santa here for suggesting this “desert style palace romance” manga as they have described. Not gonna lie, I did feel the seme as a child at first was rather disturbing because both bois were in a gap age arranged marriage which looked super cringe but luckily, there was no shota kun involved when he turned into a man 3 years later so phew to that 😮💨😮💨 Secret Santa wasn’t wrong here, I wholeheartedly agree that the art is absolutely stunning. The close up on the pair of lads was just *chefs kiss* like their eyes would literallymelt you. Now I will say, the story was just ok, I felt it got really tedious and pretty boring at times. I think they could’ve made the side characters develop even more like Saru is meant to be this kind maid to the uke but I just felt the author needed to flesh her out more. Same for the semes “evil” brother, I mean all he wanted was to be the king and marry the uke to over the semes kingdom but it was like as if he was the school bully.
Look I’d still suggest this historical royal BL manga to BL readers out there regardless if it has major room of improvements to become the best out there…
