this is a new, ongoing manga, so take that into consideration before you start! it deals with some dark themes like manipulation, not-so-extreme gore, creepy images of supernatural beings, and our main character has a paraphilia shaped around gore/gory stuff. if you’re sensitive to that kind of stuff, i wouldn’t recommend it. the story starts with a university counselor who ends up running into his sadistic and...creepy childhood friend again, who was also his sexual awakening. he offers to “help” with our main character's counseling… which, of course, makes everything way more complicated! he really has a strange way of dealing with people, after all. the artstyle is really beautiful and clean, and the character designs are amazing, everyone feels distinct, even the side characters. the manga is easy to read and understand.

if you’re into controversial stories with controversial characters, you should definitely give this one a try.
