This anime surprised me a lot. Personally, I almost don’t watch this kind of anime anymore these days because I got a bit tired of shounen, but even so, Gachiakuta managed to keep me hooked until the end and made me want to watch it every week. The story is really interesting and the characters are very good. Of course, you’ll see some shounen clichés here and there, but even so, there’s nothing to complain about — especially with the visual style, which I absolutely loved. I think Gachiakuta has a lot of potential to become one of the big anime of the current generation, especially consideringthe success of this first season.
