Our Guild's Idol · review
SO excited for season 2!!! the premise of the manhwa is simple: girl and boy are boy and girl in game, and they become friends but despite the simplicity, it's such a good read. The art style is absolutely stunning, and the MMORPG scenes in the story are refreshing as they're seldom seen in such manhwas. I echo the sentiment that you can tell the author loves the manhwa. in addition, it also delves into mental struggles & illness and its effects, and alao serves criticism towards toxic industry and parasocialism. both MCs are deeper characters than one would expect, and are a great fit.Aside from the romance, the actual plot and the storylines inside are also intriguing and interesting; if you aren't enamored by the relationship of the MCs, the other factors of the story might.
While there are misunderstandings in the story, the misunderstandings, in my opinion, are paced, handled and resolved in a way better than most manhwas of the genre-- no dragged on, brain numbing misunderstandings! This goes to most plot points too, in my opinion.
