Let's start with a basic rundown: Jashin-chan Dropkick is a comedy where Jashin-chan, a devil from Hell is summoned by Yurine, a Japanese woman with an interest in the occult and gore. The only way for Jashin-chan to go back to Hell is for Yurine to use a return spell (which she doesn't have) or for Jashin-chan to kill her. Should someone read this? Yes if they: 1) Watched and enjoyed the anime (It's not just content from the anime again, many chapters from even early on in the manga have never been adapted into the anime). 2) If they enjoy comedies with cute girls. 3) Ifthey enjoy dark humor.

The manga is simply great, it's filled with funny moments, wholesome moments, and new characters being introduced every once in a while to keep things fresh. The manga puts the characters in many different situations and joke setups that you wouldn't expect from these girls, all while having many pop culture (western and Japanese) references sprinkled throughout. The biggest drawback of the series though is that if you don't enjoy the humor within the first twenty chapters, you probably never will.

As of the time of writing this there are 287 chapters and 26 volumes.

Give it a try!
