This was a beautiful, sad and sweet story. As a content warning, there is sexual trauma that happens to both of the main characters from other characters in the story, one of the main characters is a CSA survivor which is shown in flashback. Both characters experiences are treated as traumatic. Their relationship with each other is caring, tender, and consensual. I really appreciated that there was an element of the characters being fated to meet, with them each still grappling with the choice to be together in a realistic way. I also found each of them to be lovable as their own people as wellas together.
