"Like Mother, Like Daughter" is a psychological thriller manhwa about manipulation, toxic relationships, and the thin line between love and control. The story's strongest point is its intricate character dynamics, particularly the twisted, suffocating relationship between the mother and daughter at its center. Every interaction is filled with deception, gaslighting, and power struggles, making you feel just as trapped as the protagonist. Beyond familial manipulation, the story's psychological warfare spreads to friendships and romantic relationships, where trust is an illusion and motives are never what they seem. What truly distinguishes this manhwa is its unpredictable plot twists; just when you think you have everything figuredout, it turns the entire story on its head. And I am writing this review because CHAPTER 77 contains one of the best plot twists in Manhwa history. If you enjoy thrillers that keep you guessing, characters who feel disturbingly real, and storytelling that manipulates the reader, Like Mother, Like Daughter is a must-read.
