Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

This anime is awesome. The story is a little stereotypical from this genre of anime, but for the most part, it is truly a great anime. With a "the plot thickens" type of storyline with great visuals and action scenes it is truly worth watching. The characters are great as well, making sure each character has his/her own unique personality type and the same goes for the monsters/parasites. The action scenes are also good, some of them I will admit they are a bit flashy/transformery where you are like what the heck is happening right now, but still good. The gore is also great, what I meanby this, is that there isn't just gore, gore, blood, blood in every scene they use it only when needed or appropriate which I can appreciate. Also, the animation art style is gorgeous taking on a bara/traditional style of drawing with a lot of detail.

Highly recommend you give it a watch as it is a great anime. Please be warned that is a lot and I mean a lot of "hype" surrounding this title but for good reason.
