Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I don't know how to say it without spoilers, but the last two episodes just feel like they're missing something. All the episodes up until then are thoroughly entertaining and interesting, but then everything just goes to shit. Which is strange, because most of my favourite anime are also inherently rather dark and almost definitely take inspiration from the source manga. The last two episodes are just handled in a way that didn't make me feel like what was happening was epic or ironically funny, I just felt horrible, it just felt like a bad dream, and I didn't believe anything that was happening til the finalshot
