Review of The Ancient Magus' Bride

6.5/10 ~ Kinda boring, bad pacing Finally watched it, show hit the top of my backlog watch list. It's one of my roommate's favorite shows. It's about two autistic ppl who struggle with emotions. Makes sense, as roommate probably projects himself into the show. Feels a bit like the world of Harry potter too, which I don't care for. The Girl is ruled by empathy. Skull man is ruled by sympathy. And they struggle to use the other emotion. Show is so fucking slow and pretty boring to be honest. I'm not an action junky... but things just happen for no reason and it feels like list snapshots of their life. Probably just the pacing is bad/bad writing or detecting.

However the world building and character growth is good and the main girl Chise reminds of me of my ex-life partner and that's kinda neat
