This is a somewhat generic Shōnen with everything going for it. You can tell that so much effort was poured into this show, it's a gem despite following the same path as the other popular shows of the genre. The story and character is okay, but it's the animation that really pulls this through. The art is absolutely gorgeous, and the soundtrack reaches a crescendo that gives epic scenes so much oomph that you don't even want to blink. This is a prime example of a studio doing all the right things to bring out the best in an anime.
