Review of Black Clover

The series takes time. Keep your expectations low. Initial episodes or even arcs feel like generic asf shonen anime. Poor powerless meathead wants to reach the summit of excellence. You seen it all, you know it all. Even when the story starts getting interesting the generic tropes kinda sucks the fun out of it. It is not for everyone. It is a fun type of anime that you watch when you just want to destress after a long day at work or school. The story does get real good around the halfway mark. SO, If you are looking for another just another shonen anime to destress or ambient watchor fill the void some big shonen have left then this is the series for you.
If you're looking for a series that deals with complex issues, unique storyline then you'll have to wait for around the halfway mark of the series.
