This series was outstanding, a really great surprise. Had heard of it before but didn't spark my interest from the cover art/synopsis, but read a Youtube comment that had a bunch of likes about it being someone's favorite anime so I had to check it out It was just a joy to watch this, start to finish, the characters, story, interactions, had a perfect balance of adventure, sci fi elements, and it made me emotional Not going to lie I had tears rolling down my face multiple times from the emotions it brought out The music was superb and I turned my speakers up louder so I could reallyenjoy it.

The voice acting was also immaculate.

Really all around a top notch anime, the only slight thing I could even point out as a possible negative is the lack of realism of the way things panned out in the end, but this is an anime and I totally accept that suspending your disbelief is expected in a show like this.

I'm usually not even particularly even into sci fi but this just had so many elements going for it, including the mystery of who the "betrayer" was, and also each episode's cliffhangers were epic so I binged the whole show

The last thing is the characters are extremely well designed and likeable, and the way their feelings change and the flashbacks to their pasts and shared trauma they all endured just hits you in the feels

Loved the art and style and really just so glad that the writers, musicians, artists, VA's and everyone's talents shined so well in this it was just absolutely amazing.
