Review of My Girlfriend is Shobitch

I once read an review here on MAL on the anime "School Days", that said that the only value said anime had was for opening pickle jars or any activity involving "brute strength". The reason was that School Days made you so angry that you needed to relieve yourself of the aggression. Well, this anime doesn't even have that quality. It serves no purpose except waifu material but I can't see how anyone can stand any of these characters or their deranged obsession with innuendo. I'll try to just summarize the three Prime evils of this anime so you don't spend too much time even readinga review of this godawful anime.

First, the sound. Dramatic Movies often tend to overuse simple piano music for their tender moments, or sometimes the background noise sounds very artificial. The sound team behind this anime have no sense of overuse and decided that Visual Novel background noise was the way to go. You know the saxophone solo from "Careless Whisper" by George Michael? Imagen hearing that over and over again with a saxophone being played by a guy with throat cancer. It will drive you insane if you don't gnaw your own legs off.

Second, the animation. It is not the worst animation quality I've seen, but it's up there with the likes of salad fingers. But salad fingers is redeemed. This anime isn't. They have loads of animation errors, routine misuse of the human anatomy that will persist throughout the show. And the background is just as bad as the foreground but in a lazy carefree way. Your eyes are getting tortured by two different technics at the same time.

And finally. The writing. Someone, a human like you and me, wrote the script of this anime and said it was okay. The inhuman use of bad innuendo is remarkable if this show has one thing going for it it's the effort they put in to make every sentence available to innuendo. They have destroyed any hint of a story for the sole purpose to have a couple of sex jokes.

In Summation. This anime will leave you brain-dead, blind, legless and with no pickles on your sandwich.
