This donghua was GREAT! Beautifully-animated characters with realistic facial expressions, involved in a well-paced story with lots of interesting fights. Though the first episode was rather confusing (as no background information was provided) coz it started by showing unknown people fighting and killing each other. Only from second episode onward, things start to make sense. It's about 3 different clans coming up with their evil schemes and hit lists to kill off all the main fighters in the competing clans, so as to be able to rule the world. Since it is their practice to pour wine over the dead, thus the title - aslong as there's someone else on the hit list alive, the practice of wine-pouring will never cease!

So, with the main elements of the story explained above, I'd like to point out why I like this donghua.
- Great character animation - and especially so for an older 2016 donghua!
- Nice fights
- Good story with lots of twists
- Well-paced
- Appeals to viewers adoring 不良人 - twisted folks with secretly evil agendas. Though I personally do not like such complex people and prefer the straight-up pure saint or evil chacracters, I find the motivations explained by this donghua acceptable. Luckily, there are still a handful of simple and nice people - the ML and FL, for example

Overall, a worthwhile watch!

Rating: 8/10

p/s: I'm not really looking forward to Season 2 ... coz I can't really stomach this killing of beautifully-crafted characters every 2 episodes. *Heartache*
