One of the best openings in anime. Watamote is a unique anime that many people will find relatable. Kuroki is your average teenaged girl, but she has a lot of social anxiety, and no matter how much she works at trying to find friends or fulfill her perverted dreams, she tends to fall short of her goals. As someone who suffers from social anxiety, this whole anime is like second-hand embarrassment to me. I had to cover my face with my blanket or turn away and close my eyes from certain situations, just because I either had a similar experience or I know what Kuroki's going through. Not a binge-able show.
It is really funny and has some heartfelt moments, but at the end of the day, it's a comedy about trying to find friends.
