Review of Hyouka

First of all the animation is an eyegasm my god kyoto animation really went balls making them each frame is well crafted god damn and beautiful aesthetic aside the anime was pretty mid it had a very casual vibe to it and i really liked the realism in this anime it was very realistic in terms of characterizations and atmosphere and the characters aren't special or bland they are like those homies you hang out with after school and mystery wise it was sort of boring the mysteries were solid not to say they were bad though some parts did made me make a "waoh"face and other than that they were kind of boring which was unfortunate since mystery was like the main theme and focus of the anime but nonetheless i liked the interaction between the main group and other classmates it was weirdly wholesome overall 5/10
would recommend if you're a fellow slice of life enjoyer but wouldn't recommend if you are into the mystery genre which was sort of weak to me at least.
