Review of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2

Hey folks! This will be my review of the second season of Kage no Jitsuryokusha. We have achieved partial release. This season was shorter than the first, though very much the same. Shit happens for no reason and we are simply dragged along for the ride. I was prepared to write show off as a bad job until the last episode. Certain events come to a close, we get some answers, and cap it all off with a major twist. Odds are if you liked the first season, you will like this one too. If you didn't like the first season, you wont like this oneeither, though the last episode may tickle your interest as it has done for me. Overall the show doesn't suck, nor is it good. Mixed feelings feels like such a cop out, but this one really is a head scratcher. I am truly surprised by the overall ranking of the show, its hard to justify a high 8, at least that's where it stands at the time of writing this review. This show is not a fresh take on the old formula, nor is it a well done example of something we already have. It is not overtly comedic, though it dips its fingers into the absurd, nor is it dramatic, though it shocks you with death and tragedy. This show simply exists in an in between state, both good and bad. I cannot tell you who will like it, or if you should watch it. This show is its own thing, and only you can decide if that's something you will value. I did not.
