Review of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.

To me, there's at least one thing, just this one thing, that makes "Bofuri (...)" an easy watching anime : I think every person that took part in this (animators, graphists, scenarists, you name it ...) had a lot of fun making this little anime. Then, while it's obviously not a chef d'oeuvre, even quite a long way from any masterpiece, this anime was enjoyable because the staff involved in this anime seemed to simply enjoy themselves, and I think this can be felt through the awkward mixture of cute girls, mecha, fantasy setting, isekai gaming (and etc). Nothing too serious : just the fun to experiment witheverything the crew wanted in the first place.
Don't expect too much from it and you will end up with a fun anime that will entertain you just enough to hit the button
"Play" again.
Maybe it's not much, but because the staff seemed to enjoyed themselves, well ... that's enough for me.
