Review of Days with My Stepsister

I give this anime a 4 because both of the main characters are perfect squares. Another review on here says that this show is about about two robots discovering human emotions and that user could not be more spot on. I think some people will enjoy what this show has to say, but the two main characters have such little chemistry that the moral dilemma of their relationship does not even matter. This show is more interested in talking about step sibling relationships (a topic that might apply to a handful of people in real life) than it is in portraying one. These characters wouldnot have fallen in love if the plot of the show did not rely on it.

On top of that, the shot composition is pretty confusing and there are many times where the show is more interested focusing on a random object instead of the characters (while dialogue is occurring). There is a near 30 second bit where the characters eat without talking while the camera is in a different room and it had me floored. The show is far from unwatchable but not close to enjoyable either. Overall, very boring.
