I’m gonna be honest, I didn't expect much from this Paripi Koumei before the season began, but I'm glad I gave it a chance because it genuinely was a really well-done feel-good anime and caught me by surprise. It almost never failed to keep me entertained. Now it isn’t perfect, but it's a nice watch that I would recommend to anyone. Art: 7 In all honesty, the art is pretty basic, but the use of vibrant colors and fun character designs really stand and to me here. This isn’t exactly the reason I would watch this anime for anyway, but by no means was it alet-a-down. The art supported the type of anime this was well.
Sound: 9
I mean there was no way this was gonna get a bad score. The sound design was good, the music was good, and that intro is legendary. Honestly, for a music anime, it did the job for me as there was no moment that I really hated anything, the rap portions were a little rough, but a great job nonetheless.
Characters: 9
The best part of the show, ill say it straight. I didn’t think that this would be the show that had some of the most memorable characters from the season, but it really did. They felt very human, and the character development in the show was pretty top-notch. Also, Kongming is always enjoyable whenever he is on screen.
Story: 8
Good! I dont really have much else to say, the story plays off its strong characters well enough and it's just good. I think they could have had better comedic moments, but it's hard to find a career in music and I think this anime did a great job at portraying that.
