Review of Vinland Saga Season 2

While it's quite a departure from the bloodthirsty and war-centric feel of the first season, the intense and well-thought-out ideas and characters make this season a thoughtful and well-planned sequel that capitalized on the core ideas of the whole series and fleshed out its characters' development in sensible matter; something that you don't see often in most animes. You'll most likely find some complaints about how stark is the difference between the mood between the two seasons, but don't let that deter you from watching this one, it'll make more sense as you go on. My only issue is that the pacing could've been a bit faster,especially in the first half of the season. Otherwise, this anime is a must-watch, and the music and OPs are sublime.
