Chibizenji-sensei Inokori Kougiroku · review
These are the chibi specials of ‘The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries.’ True to the genre, they're humorous and feature a sharp script. Although I watched this after I finished the anime, it's best that you watch an episode after each episode of the series. It tells you a bit of what will happen in the next episode of the main series. I am rating this a 4 out of 10. While I found it enjoyable, the animation leaves a lot to be desired, resembling early Macromedia Flash Animation. Macromedia Flash Animation Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivH10spioxM To its credit, about 80% of the chibi specialconsists of two characters conversing, so high-quality animation is less essential. Nevertheless, the limited animation budget for the anime is evident here.
Despite that, I am marking this as recommended. Some episodes reinforce my claim in my review for the main series that Kanna is being mentored by Chuuzenji-sensei into the rational worldview. She even echoes his catchphrase in the final episode of 'There are no mysterious things in the world.'
