Title: Ghosts? Aliens? Granny Kung-Fu? Yes. I went into this expecting a normal high school anime. What I got was: Ghosts with neck fetishes Aliens with tentacle problems A grandma who could solo GokuRomantic tension over bananas

And testicles being stolen by a space jellyfish (not even joking)

And I loved every minute of it.

Characters:
Momo is the queen of girlboss energy. Okarun is the king of nerd energy. Together, they form the most awkward, chaotic, lovable duo since... ever. Also, there's a sentient turban-wearing granny who throws hands like it’s Dragon Ball Super.

Story:
Plot? What plot? Oh right — it’s about disproving ghosts vs aliens, which immediately turns into "both are real and also now they're fighting in your bathtub." The pacing is like your caffeine-rushed friend telling five stories at once — confusing, but somehow still entertaining.

Animation:
Studio Science SARU said, “Let’s spend the entire national budget on these fight scenes,” and I thank them for it. Every battle looks like a music video, a fever dream, and a Marvel movie rolled into one.

Sound:
OP slaps. ED vibes. Voice acting? 10/10 — everyone sounds like they’re having the time of their life and a mild panic attack at the same time.

Final Thoughts:
Dandadan is like taking a haunted house tour during an alien abduction while on a blind date.
It’s weird.
It’s wild.
It’s wonderful.

9/10 because I’m deducting one point for psychological damage caused by the first alien encounter scene. (You’ll know when you see it.)
