Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Within the first few episodes i found the show to be very slow, and was confused about whole the point of the story. I even considered dropping it. However, I continued watching, and I'm glad I did because as the anime progressed, I didn't have any problem with its slow pace and realised what makes this show so enjoyable is the journey itself, of meeting new characters, of them going to places and doing small irrevelent tasks. The characters could have been more interesting though. The two main characters of the show Freiren and Fren are very similar and lacked the it-factor. They could haveadded more depth to Fren's character.
Overall, i thoroughly enjoyed the show but i can see why others would not. Some patience is needed to watch the first episodes and then the story gets more enjoyable.
