Review of Redo of Healer

alright, now imagine a guy and now have him go through some of the worst shit ever, good and now have him get his revenge by raping the people who put him through that, with his "healing powers", thats it. you've seen the anime, i have saved few hours of your life, be grateful i'll start with addressing the biggest issue here, the rape. in anime/manga theres two ways you can go with this, first one is using it to portray the state of the world the story is based in, like in berserk or vagabond and the other way is to feed incel fantasies likein goblin slayer and this abomination

now did our mc go through a lot of pain and suffering? yeah he did
did the girl who made him go through all that deserve what happened to her? yknow what? yeah she did
is that supposed to be a good story? hell no

what makes a story good is how this type of themes are handled and how well the characters respond to them like the aforementioned masterpiece, berserk (im not at all comparing the two, just the fact that it has similar things about it)

i think absolutely anyone can come up with a bunch of fucked up things for the mc to go through, so the audience can sympathize with him and what the general audience expect from him is to yeah possibly take revenge and see how he lives his life putting all this behind, what does redo of healer do? have the mc say ‘take my revenge’ a hundred times and an obligatory sex scene in the middle of an episode

the mc of berserk, guts went through x10000000 times the pain this sorry excuse of a mc ever did and yet he didnt go full edgy and started raping griffith, he actually managed to get his shit together and grow as a person, because of his experience and later on find a family and quite possibly happiness as well, same goes for the rape aspect which tones down entirely later in the series and even while it was used, it wasnt the fucking main character doing it

i could go on and on about every thing thats wrong with this but if youre still reading you already know and im gonna end it there and thanks for reading i suppose
