Even in its third season the show is still funny as it ever has been while continuing to (slowly) progress the main story. It does feel like the show is headed for a clear ending so it being somewhat dragged out is alleviated by this and the fact that other characters are interesting to watch interact with each other. The focus not being purely on the 2 lead characters and their relationship, but being on the side characters allows us to understand and sympathize more with them. The level of depth given to Ishigami in the last season is not given to any other character whichis a damn shame, this is not to say that the others have no depth whatsoever, but it is far cry from what was given to him.
